Statement Of Faith
The Bible is the only complete, inspired and infallible Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16
There is one living and true God who exists for all eternity in three persons - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19, John 10:30
We believe in the perfect deity and perfect humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His sacrificial death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His bodily return in power and glory. Luke 1:31-35
That men and women were created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sin nature, and became alienated from God. Therefore, humanity is totally depraved and unable to remedy its fallen condition. (Gen. 1:26,27; Rom. 5:12,19; Eph. 2:1-3,12).
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary death on the cross paid the penalty for man's sin through His shed blood, and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ are saved. (Romans 5:8,9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).
In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13,14; I Corinthians 3:16; I Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18).
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:9; I Corinthians 12:12,13; Galatians 3:26-28).
That God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27).
That the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25).
We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (I Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4).
That all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Psalm 139).
